Hi All,

I'm new to this forum as I just purchased a 2000 Honda S2000. My friend gave me an amazing deal on the car ($9000!) as it needs a new top and has very faded black paint. My wife has always wanted a S2K and I've always loved these cars too. I love the 9000RPM redline and that they are built in small batches alongside the NSX. I'm hoping the S2K will help me get over my Yamaha R1 which I sold when I got married. My wife is an great driver, and she drives my '96 Porsche 911 amazingly well.

As it will be mainly her car, and neither of us want a black car in SoCal, I told her she could pick the color. She's a natural redhead with green eyes, and green is her favorite color. No use arguing with a redhead!

According to my research, the S2K was never available in a green color. She loves the sage green metallic as seen on the new Lexus IS350:



Honda has a similar color for the CRV and Element called Green Tea Metallic:



I'd really like to choose a more subtle green color, more like silver metallic with just a hint of green. Any ideas? Is green just WRONG for an S2K?

Man, I am looking through a bunch of different green colors. Green just doesn't work for me. But, you might as well make the wife happy and get that Lexus green you mentioned.

I think a dark green would look good. Here is a members custom green that looks nice.
