It all has to do with expectation and anticipation. If I ride as passenger with a more skilled (and faster driver), then it will feel faster because the points where I would have braked or turned are different from his/hers.

But with a similarly skilled driver, I would expect the same turnin and braking points. The only difference is you don't have a steering wheel to hold on to.

My first experience was with Sondra, I was telling her to remember I own one of these cars too so she didnt have to impress me!

It is a night and day difference, even unsettling if you dont trust the driver.

That's true - trust is a major factor. Ask my passengers in the last few days between the autocross in the S2000 and the highway cloverleaf intersections in the NSX Type S.
