[ltred]LISTEN TO YOUR WIFE!!!!!!!!!!!![/ltred]
I recently had a long standing argument with my fiance about getting the OEM front end replaced with the Mugen SS front end due to an accident I had. Even though she likes the front end, agreed to get it someday, and understood that some of the cost is offset due to the accident, her take on it is that she doesn't want to do it right now for no other reason than that.
Me being a man and all, I could not understand that rationale; so I decided to fight for my cause. Mind you, usually Ronica lets me get away with anything I want....usually. For some reason or another, she didn't want it to be this way this time.
Let me tell you, the scorn from someone you love is not worth it.....just listen to her, and do what she wants.
BTW, I saw things her way, but we did come to an agreement that I could do whatever to the S2K once its paid for and she has another car as a daily driver.

I saw Mingster's car in person this past weekend at the Big Irvine meet, and I can tell you the car looked awesome!!! But then again, I'm partial to all thing SPOON, so I'm biased...
If you slap on the ZealB6 and lower it a little, then your ride would be dialed!!!
Does your wife not like the look of the wheels or is it just an issue of the color??
MingMan, do what makes you and your wife happy, that's all that matters Bro!!

The brand name thing doesn't mean much to me. If you want the racer look, keep 'em. The "racer" theme is not necessarily synonomous with good looking. I like my wheels to have a pleasing visual effect and these just make the car look like its got dirty wheels all the time. If you hadn't already stated in a previous thread your high regard for your wife, I'd say get rid of her and do what you want. In your case, I think it would promote marrital harmony if you went with the home tide.

I'm on the love them side. But weighing up what other people think probably won't help you much. Do what ever YOU want and if YOU want to keep the wheels see if there are any other issues you can conceed on with your wife (doesn't have to be car related) and everyone wins.

it's the color and style - she says they make the car look like those hubcap-less trash cars in downtown LA people live in (hint for me?).
i guess i'll have to sell them now...
