Default Widest tires on stock AP1 wheels.

I know a 215/50/16 in the front will fit but will the tire rub? I'm lowered on Eibach springs and I was thinking it really isnt that much of a drop to rub. I could be wrong. I'm going to go with a 245/45/16 in the rear.

Anyone have experience with these sizes?

Yes, I have ran the 245's in back with espillar springs. It is actually the correct size for the rears, because the stock 225 so2's are 245's in any other tire... weird, but thats what it is. You will be fine.

you can run 225/50/16 in the front and 245/45/16 in the rear.

That sounds even better. I thought for sure maybe the 225 in the front would run so I didnt ask. Traction is the key because I'm boostin' VERY soon. I might just buy 245 BF DR's for the rear and go with an aggressive street tire up front. Followed up by another new rear, LOL.

Thanks guys. Its alot easier getting answers from here rather than H-T. I'm converted.

Sure, but your speedometer and odometer will be all jacked up due to the larger wheel diameter. You will probably see a decrease in acceleration as well. It's probably not that big of a difference, but why fool with it? Stick with 245/45.

I run 225/50 and 245/45 S03s... the front feels nice... oversteer is a bit more pronounced, but I found that you can better feel when the car is going to let go. The ride in the front is a SMALL TAD bit more "spongy"... but maybe that's just me... nothing big, and most probably wont notice too much.

all in all... i definately recommmend it.
