why would u get an oem hardtop

OEM has a bigger rear window, which provides better visibility (which is why I'm leaning towards OEM). There's also the paint matching issue and a LOT less downtime.

lol i'm glad i didn't have to throw my flame suit on. i never seen the inside of either so i figured they were to same for the most part. but thanks for the "luke warm" input

Simple OEM flows with the lines of the car and the Mugen doesn't From the back the mugen looks great great from the sides the Mugen looks like crap. It's too long and destroys to flow/lines of the car. A BYS spoiler helps some but still the sides of the mugen are just too long.

are OEM and Mugen only hardtops available for s2k???

hrm i have a sebring silver s2k.. and i was thinking i wanted a black hardtop on it.. haha.. wat do u guys think that will look like?

Why hasn't there been an aftermarket CF top that's shaped like the OEM? I would buy that in a heartbeat. I too think the mugen is ugly especially from the sides. Almost gives it a fastback appearance.
