What I don't like about s2000 is you have to drop the clutch at 8500 to start the car and the lack of torque is extremely noticeable when having to change the radio stations...

Good luck on dropping the clutch at 8,500. Although I do agree that the clutch needs to be dropped too high (no less than 6,500), 8.500 will do you no good. 7,000 is a good launching rpm. Any higher and you will just spin and be too close to redline. As for the changing the radio stations, i don't know what you mean. I can play with the radio, and shift at the same time(not that i ever need to). Can you chew gum and walk at the same time. I liked your response to the Chevy guys. I ran a auto SS and we were neck and neck from 30-90 and i was starting to pull a bit when i had to slow down. I know, i know, it was an auto, but he had a loud exhaust and nice shiny wheels

The base price of a convertible vette is $51,535 and a six speed will cost you an extra $915 bringing it to a total of $52,450. That is about $20,000 more than an S2000. Now what car is overpriced?

Russ... I think I love you! LOL

That has to be one of the greatest write-ups I've seen in a long time. Well thought out and well written.
