If your friends are used to riding around in Cadillac Escalades and the like, then of course the S is going to feel cramped.

To answer the question though, I've only had one friend say it was uncomfortable and he was 6'2" and his knees hit the dash in the passenger seat, so I can understand that. The passenger seat is not for passengers over 6' tall.

It's not really the size of the person, it's the preference. Some people aren't comfortable unless they feel like they are taking up as much space as possible. Personally, I don't like big cars. When I drive a SUV or big car, I just feel like there is so much space all around me. It may be comfy, but it's not cozy.
thats exactly what it is...
i have had a woman get in my car that was much smaller than me and i am by no means big..5'7...and she referred to the car as making her feel claustraphobic lol

The beauty of this guys is that you can easily convince your friends to drive when you are going out to watch the game, or partying! Always a benefit as those places are not typically good climates for parking a mint S2000.

Seriously, i would never bought the S for space or comfort. This car is a treasure to me. People dont know what the hell it is and for that i am in love with it. I tell them its a Honda and they just say wow; what type of honda. I say S2000 and they say S 2 what? .... THOUSAND! ugh. So then i just let them here me boost away. I used to have a C5 vette but people already know what that is no matter what i did to the exterior.

if he's complaining about there being too much bass, and assuming you have a stock system, he's probably just jealous. they seem to like to pick on the car any way they can

I came from an 01 TT, and the S2000 is going to be much smaller. The Audi, with the seat all the way back (touching the backseats cause i had the coupe) it was slightly uncomfortable for me to touch the pedals and im 6'2" 175.

The audi feels much roomier as well.
But the honda feels much better IMO

I was test-sitting in an S2000 CR 3 months ago (yea thats what i said--i'll take one out for a test drive soon) and it was kinda cramped. Then again, at the time I weighed 238lbs and I'm 5' 11". Now I'm 205 lbs. I'll try it again..and if I have to lose weight to sit in..so be it!! I'll be damned if a car is gonna try to be stubborn to prevent me from buying it!!
