Why do people steal S2000 antennas?

after i park the S the atenne comes off the car and then pulls duble duty as my cell phone antenna

I think the reason why people steal our antennas is because our antennas are shorter, and look "sportier," than most manufacturers' OEM ones (i.e. toyota, mitsubishi, etc.). So instead of paying however much it costs at a stealership, they just jack ours.

Huh? I take 'em and put 'em up in my room on my S2000 shrine, along with all the other "goodies" like Honda emblems and centercaps. Why....what do you guys do...?

yeah i bought an s2k antenna for my 20th GTI...
it got stolen... i was pissed. there was an s2k nearby i wonder if he thought i had stolen his and stole mine. idk i was just pissed and wanted to kill someone ...
