I guess this is similar to the last discussion, eh XViper... anyways here goes again.
Is this your daily driver? Are you going to install it yourself? Well, for me, it's my daily driver and I plan on installing it myself. After all the problems with the last groupbuy and what appears to be less than optimal customer service, I think the Vortech looks less attractive than the Comptech. The Comptech only comes polished and also has a carbon fiber intake. Also, the installtion is much easier, especially for those of us that plan on doing it ourselves. I for one couldn't afford for the "black box" to be bad and have to take it to a shop for troubleshooting and diagnosis. And here in Utah there are very few shops that would even know how to do this work. I think it's wrong that the buyer has to pay for finding a bad product sent and then on top of that also be charged for shipping of the bad part. Because of this I have been swayed from Vortech to Comptech. As the Comptech pushes less boost I see no big reason for an aftercooler, especially here in Utah. If I ever go with more boost then I'll worry about it. Otherwise, I'll be more than happy with a Comptech for $4k and the satisfaction of knowing that I don't have any electonics to worry about being bad.
Just my $.02...

Sorry XViper, these weren't directed towards you. It was more to answer Fanman and anyone else that might be deciding between the Comptech, Vortech, or Turbo. It is what I've come to after the last year or so from reading comments on this forum and I thought I would share my rationale for my decision. Sorry for the confusion.
