Why all the stolen seats?

Why all the stolen seats?
I haven't been here long but it seems like I'm frequently hearing about seats being stolen out of S2000s. Do the seats bolt in to other Hondas or something? Personally that's one thing that turns me off about possibly getting an S2000 - the lowlifes seem to love them. I don't have secure parking at work so I could only do so much... seat locks (if still available), alarm, wheel locks, glue the antenna on... that's a lot of work just to keep what's mine. What a sad world we live in sometimes.

The S2000 itself may be relatively difficult to steal unless the thief has a tow truck or flat bed (or the key).
The seats, head lights and air bag are expensive and not that hard to remove, without having to take the entire car.

I say who cares it not like you don't have insurance. The insurance will pay for it and it goes under compressive. The seats are worth a lot to. Get some racing seat and hardtop with what the insurance give you.
