who uses regular dino oil vs synthetic?

I use dino oil because there's no real advantage in synth for me - I put about 12k mi on the car a year and change the oil every six months, so synth is just a more expensive option. If you're wondering, the S2000 does fine on dino oil and several owners have oil analyses that show it. Synth has its advantages, but when all you need is to get in a house, a normal door will do just as well as a french door, so to speak.

I use Mobil-1 for the "maybe" factor. Maybe I'm actually doing something good for my car. Heart of hearts tells me there really is little advantage with daily driven cars except for the extended time between changes. This extended time seems to even out the cost when switching to a full synthetic. As I see it, there is no right or wrong answer or choice when it comes to a personal decision of which to use.

There is a lot of proof, just search. Send in some dino oil after 5k miles to get tested then send in some Full Syn after 5k. That is enough proof for me.
As for me:
Mobil 1 10w30 Full Syn
Honda OEM PCX Filter

We've been using traditional oil in our classics, muscle cars and daily drivers for many years, with no problems.
But i guess if it helps you sleep better at night to use synth...do it.
