I bought mine on 2/14/00 at Balise Honda in Springfield, MA. Took three days of wrangling through a private broker who also made a commission on the sale from the dealer.
I paid $34,607.00
This included a 5 year paint/leather treatment/warranty. As well as every option available except the locking lugnuts, car cover and engine block heater.
I figured the accessories i got would cost me $2,233.00 at Honda-acessories.com.
Considering MSRP is $32,415.00 and the acessories i got cost $2,233.00 (miniumum) the MSRP price with acessories would be $34,648.00. So i actually got my car at the begining of the year for $41 UNDER MSRP, plus with a Free Paint and leather sealant to boot.
Boy, I hadn't realized how good of a deal i had gotten before today. Thanks for posting this thread Rosso !!!!

I WILL be paying MSRP ($32,740 + tax) when I pick up my 01' SilverStone Metallic w/ Black Leather Interior S2000 on the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving. . .
It took calls/visits to almost every dealer in Northern New Jersey and waiting since February of 1999, but my hard work paid off. . .
Though, as an MBA I would argue that my (effort) + (9 months I've had my deposit down) = MSRP + $(x)
Oh well. . . At least I've theoretically gotten MSRP. . .

I paid 5% UNDER msrp, here in Sweden. No forced options. I was one of the first buyers, so maybe that helped. In currrent exchange rate it came to 30142 USD.

I paid $36,500. for all options including the 6/100k mile warranty. I got a really good deal. I love my Yellow submarine and cannot wait to get to the 600 miles so I can air it out on the Sawgrass Expressway here in Florida.

We paid 34,000 with front & rear spoiler, side strakes, wind screen, mats, and the only stupid options of the pockets behind the seats and the trunk cargo net. We bought in January in New England just before a snow storm and drove it home off the lot the day we picked it out. All in all we feel ok with the prices. BTW we would have ordered all ot the options with the exception of the stuff behind the seats and the cargo net in the trunk.
