Isn't that sort of like asking "who is the biggest tool?" Why would people want to brag about getting the worst deal?

I believe that we have some honest people on here. I wouldn't be suprised to hear $42,000.

I heard rumors that the first one in Northern California sold for 50k. You can ask Blair Morrow, he sold it.

i believe it. I have heard of markups of 20k and as high as 50k when the car was first released in 99'. Though I'm not sure if anybody would have paid 70k for this car???? Would take a carrera any day over the S

i remember the guys who bought their S2000's right behind me in Sept 99 both sold theirs at auction for roughly $39k each...... and that was in shitty old Pennsylvania.... i would imagine $45k in California.
