Who is most respected Engine Builders on the WEST Coast?
So I have one of my s2000's that I'm planning to build into a weekend race car and want the ultimate engine setup.
Plans are to lower compression, maybe use some titanium rods, stronger crankshaft, and fortify the engine for running 10+lbs on a Paxton Supercharger setup.
Who do you guys trust as the best engine builder's / tuners out on the west coast? I'm relatively new to this and prefer someone local in Norcal since shipping a motor is not exactly a walk in the park.
Any respected motor guys in SOCAL or NORCAL?
thanks
rick

I know Tony Fuchs has been building race engines for long time. Here is quick story: http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/f...s/viewall.html

Can't you safely run 10psi on stock everything? If I were doing an engine build I would personally either go with higher boost or just not bother with the engine based on the research/info I've seen, but I could be wrong.

ENDYN was pretty reputable. They used to port/polish/modify the jackson racing superchargers for preludes; that's where I know of them from. Never heard of any complaints about their work. But when I was going to build my block I was actually going to send it to Laskey.
