Wow. Especially in your area.

$31,500. Not a penny more. That's the attitude you go into the dealership with.

Never let 'em know that you would pay A LOT more for such an amazing car.

It worked for me.

Really?

You should have walked out of the place(s) you looked.

My wife and I got up from our chairs three times threatening to leave during the negotiations for our S2000.

I crap you negative, at one point the dealer said "Ya know, we don't have to sell you this car". At that point, my wife said "fine", picked up her purse to leave, and they chased us down before we hit the front door.

Stick to your guns, spend the entire day going from dealership to dealership and you'll get what you want. I think we can all testify it's worth your time.

once again my point is that it all depends where u live ... im sure LOS ANGELES is alot harder than WA or the midwest ..... some parts of the country have alot more demand therefore some dealerships will only sell it for a certain amount ......

My point again, is, you paid too much. The market is based on a lot more than where you live, it can be based on the time of year (much more sale in the summer time) , demand, supply, how long the car has been on the lot, manager's disposition on that particular day, how many cars that salesman has sold this week, etc.....

My S2000 was stickered for $39,500!

I paid $31,500.

Be patient my young padawan's. You'll get what you want at the price you want if you are.

man, that's what im trying to say u think it's so easy for everyone to just step in and get MSRP on a car. I'd like to see you go to LOS ANGELES HONDA DEALERSHIPS and get them to sell it to you for 32 at every single dealer .... and if u really can then next time i buy a car i'll give you a call and i'll pay you a thousand dollars and u get me MSRP ... i know on a freaking HONDA CIVIC or a FORD MUSTANG it is possible ........ im just saying MSRP on a s2000 is hard ... and unless u live in "butt**** egypt" it is hard ...
