Who here has an AP2 with the X-brace installed?

Not to jack the thread...but does the rear tie bar make as big of a difference as the x-brace, in your opinion?
Our stock rear tie bars are rather weak and frequently bent. I highly recommend getting a tie bar as well.

Rick's X-Brace here. You will feel the difference big time! The stock rear lower bar is weak. You should change it, but you won't feel it.

Close to 90,000 miles of both hard and daily driving, and yet not a rear bar bent yet.

I've worked on many S2000's over the years, still hadn't seen a bent rear OEM bar (upper or lower). Also I've been on this site since it started, and I don't recall a resounding yelp from owners, past or present, about their cars' bars bending.

Am I missing something here?
