Without taking off the head, will a simply Cylinder compression test indicate is there is scoring in any cylinder??

A compression test will tell a lot of things but it may not tell you what you want to know. Best way to tell without taking the engine apart is to go down the sparkplug hole with a fibre optic camera and scope each cylinder with the piston at the bottom of its travel.
