Default Who has a PDA/GPS and which do you recommend?

This weekend I saw a member's PDA based GPS and was very impressed. I have decided I want one, but as with all things electronic, I know very little about them. I went to a web forum called gpspassion.com, but just got more confused. So as with all things S2000 related, I thought I'd ask here.

Who has them? Do you like what you have? And Most importantly, if you were buying now, what would you get?

I'm not at all interested in dedicated, big screen GPSs. I'm looking for a PDA based solution that can move with me from car to car and communicate with my office for e-mails. In the summer, I would also use this on my boat. If the PDA was also a phone, that would be sweet, but not critical. I also want to keep the price within reason.

I'm thinking others would like to know about this too, so I hope the mods will keep this post here where it reaches a wide audience.

As always, thanks for your time and thoughts.

Garmin IQ works very well and has voice but:
Battery life is really bad.
You need the car kit for mounting and recharging.
Car kit slides on the S2000 dashboard so you have to work on that.
Sometimes hard to see in the sunlight.

I have an iPAQ 5555, and am looking at the TomTom Bluetooth GPS system right now. Seems to have the best feature set of all of the systems I've looked at so far (Pharos, Navman and CoPilot).

Also, need to get a vehicle mount, looking at the Arkon model 307, but haven't decided as I need something that I can easily transfer from the S to my Suburban.

If you don't need full-blown GPS Microsoft PocketStreets is pretty good at showing you where things are, and with Streets and Trips 2004 you can do your routing and download a map to your PDA. You won't get voice routing or moving map, but it is a good reference.

I don't think the Tom-Tom does ocean charts. The only way I have found to do marine navigation with a PDA is with the Teletype map software - www.teletype.com
