I have own a Supra before and currently own a 300ZX TT (about 500hp) and an S2000...if you can get both :-)
If not then the Supra should be the car you want to race. You can easily squeeze power out of them but if you want looks and something different get the S2000......they are completely different cars.
I wish I could get my 500hp Z engine into my S2000...that would be the ultimate. My best run on my Z has been 12.5 @ about 118mph and believe me, than makes the agile S2000 feel like a Pinto...go with the Supra........

WEll I guess I will comment for a sec. I have had a turbo s and rx7 and just bought a TT. An S is a wonderful car drives awesome but unless you have serious cash and time dont bother boosting it. I had about 60k in my turbo S. It made nice numbers and ran good. I went through 1 motor though. Parts for the car very expensive. Very painful and long process lol. Rx7 are awesome and in my opinion out handle and S and can obviosly put up the hp numbers. They are also a very smoothturbo car. When I first picked up my 7 it was only making 350hp and 276ft/lb tq and was taking down a lot of cars. The motors are wonderfully cheap and upgrades are fairly simple. About 17k can buy you an amazing setup that will kill most of the competition and get you in between 11s-and deep into 12's 1/4miles. But thats not counting car. The only thing that all people will tell you are that 7's are picky and unreliable very true. Well I just got into the supra much heavier then both but the hp and reliabiltiy are much higher. I live in florida so titan motorsport will be doing my upgrades. Supras are a never ending hole. Probably one of the most expensive cars to mod. Parts are crazy!!! I purchased mine for 21k. If you are looking for something to drag or just want some good hp and have other cars rx7 would be my pick. When you break the motors or it just gets old about 3400 for nice street port from pettit and 1k of labor pulling and dropping back in. Recomend aspec gt500r turbo kit amazing. 425hp @ 1bar great top end. 400hp in a 7 is scary. Felt completely different than in the S.
