28,900 for an 01 with 2 miles on it, but it had sat on the showroom floor till the 02 models came out. even though i wanted the 02, i didnt want it 4 grand more!!!

is it me, or does it seem like california dealers can get more money for an S versus the rest of the country? invoice prices in california?!? that's so funny i'm starting to tear up!

i bought my 2002 in spring for a couple hundred over msrp and thought it was a deal! most other san francisco bay area dealers would not budge at anything less than msrp plus $2k. those of you who got prices below msrp got one heck of a deal!

There a too many rich $$$ people with money to burn in CA and here in AZ that are willing to pay MSRP or above, and not care. As long as the dealers know these people are out there, they will continue to hold out for MSRP or above, knowing that one of these people will walk in the door soon.
I found that out here in AZ.
