hello,
is there some sort of advantage/disadvantage of using the spray aerosol can white lithium grease or is it the same as the tube kind?? is there a brand better then the other? because ... i was at ACE hardware store and there was like 15 different brands thats why. Also is the only places you put the grease is at the door latches and hinges, and trunk + hood latches and hinges am i correct??? thanks guys

I bought some spray white lithium grease at home depot and it worked o.k. but make sure when you spray it its going somewhere it wont be seen or its somewhere you can wipe it up. i got it between the window and the upper track on my integra and its pretty impossible to cleanup there
I'd go with the in-the-bottle kind over the spray but that's just me.
they also sell the stuff at paint stores to grease paint sprayers too..... if i remember its cheaper at my sherwin williams than it was at home depot.

I also use a generic white litheum grease (in a cardboard like tub) on the rubber on the roof that meets the windows. I don't want the rubber to dry up.
I used the non-spray and a rag to rub in. Takes a little patience and time to make sure I don't get it everywhere.

ok so i guess brand doesnt matter and the tube seems its not as messy as the spray.. so the only parts you use the lithium grease on is the door hinges and latches, and the trunk/hood hinges and latches?? oh and also the seat sliders? correct me if im wrong. thanks
