For cryin' out lout!...
Can the VAFC be set through the head end? Is the head end just a display, or is it an input device that sets points? That's all I'm asking?
I do lots of track time and am looking for something that will allow me to experiment... That after all is the only reason why I go to road course events... to see if my latest mod really makes a difference. So far, what I have does. Now, I want more power.

You can set VTEC to come in when you want and you can set air/fuel mix at different RPM's lean to rich. There are a number of displays to monitor, it is a neat little toy that works well. This can be done at the unit it's self.

I like the idea of the stereo door and the one in the stoage area is a cool idea. I never would have thought of the sun visor.

Mine is hidden under the dash. It's been tuned and I am not going to mess with it so I don't need to access it as I drive.

They have been mounted either in the radio door, or behind the cup holder - in place of the coinholder. I'll look for some pics.

edit : Kayvan beat me to it.

and a bonus....
where can you get a mount like the one used in the compartment lid?

that's super clean.

i dont really want to mount it on the dash or anywhere immediately visible....but i would like access to it at times.

the visor looks pimp too.

I have one of those center pieces all set up for a VAFC controller sitting out in my shed. Maybe someday I will actually use it.

I'd say the radio door is a good place if you have an AP1. The AP2 door is just too sexy to mess with
