Where to mount my VAFC-II?

Default Where to mount my VAFC-II?

Any ideas on where I should mount my VAFC? All opinions appreciated. Also, can't do the center console because my car is an AP2

While we're on the subject... I've heard a little bit about the VAFC II. Can anyone tell us more about what the VAFC II can do for our rides?
Primarily, is it dynamic? That is... can you input different settings, or is it static?
I've seen the head end, and I'd be pressed as to where to mount it as well. Maybe inside the engine compartment, or in the trunk? I'd hate to put it on the dash.

Here is where I put my VAFC, the date on the pic is wrong, this was taken like a month ago.

They have been mounted either in the radio door, or behind the cup holder - in place of the coinholder. I'll look for some pics.

Im sure we can find a place to mount it. Did you look around at the super meet. I saw some really nice ideas there for the VAFC

I see them going inside the door by the hinge. From there I'm sure they are just routed along the cavity in the center console and to the dash...

Please explain more about what the VAFC does for my engine. I'm very curious. One of the drivers here in Phoenix has a VAFC and is constantly pulling away from my S at HP track events. Do you guys think it is worth extra spendage? I believe that the VAFC goes for around $400-600. Right?
BTW, I really like the mounting in the glove box.

i gained about 13 hp at peak and about 24 rwhp at 8,900 rpm. But this thread isnt about this. This subject lead into a 5 page argument, dont want that again.
