Where is the fuel door lever/button?

The same thing happend to me on my drive home from picking up the S last summer. I stood there at the pump for a really long time, trying to look cool while nonchalantly looking for that dang button. I had to get my friend to find it while I filled up his car, it took him a while too.
It also took me a while to find the dipstick. Actually, I didn't find it, the same friend who found the gas door button showed me where it was.

I managed to be unable to find the fuel door release after already knowing where it was.
The first time I filled it up, everything was fine, the salesperson had told me where it was (she had spent 20 minutes at a gas station finding out). The second time, it was night, and I couldn't find it ... I kept pulling on the rubber cover to the door closure light switch!

[quote name='Mr Clean' date='Jan 28 2005, 03:51 AM']LOL! The same thing happened to me when I bought my S! IT is located on the inside of the driver's door, or more accurately, on the upper door sill. It is black and kind of blends in with the rest of the plastic. IT's actually a knob that you pull out. Hope that helps!
.......
You grab that little knob, and rotate it exactly 1/2 turn clockwise. Goodness, I thought everybody knew that.
