where do you keep your cell phone when driving?

I used to store mine in coin slot, and it fit perfectly (almost as though the phone was made for the slot).. it was the Kyocera Slider phone. That phone crapped out though, and my new LG 5550 won't fit in the coin slot, so it just goes in the cup holder, which sucks cuz I hate having the little door open (I can feel it poke into my arm when it's resting there, plus I lose my cup holder spot).
I'm considering getting a belt clip for the phone so I can clip it onto my visor (similar to the way a garage door open clips onto your visor). Anyone have any experience with this? Is it a good spot?

I use this
I stuck it to the drivers side od the radio cover, Only problem is you have to move your phone before you can change CD's. It works awesome, I can clearly see who is calling me without touching the phone. It is really cheap too.

Mine rests in my crotch, set to vibrate. Apart from the obvious pleasant physical sensation, I can always tell when it's ringing, and it's easy to get to. It's too tough to try to dig it out of my front pockets, and if I do put it in my left pocket (it's normal spot the rest of the day), the door speaker keeps making me think the phone is ringing.
Only problem is that when I tell the passenger "It's for you", they seldom want to take the call, without first using a disinfectant wipe....

I've got a Motorola V710 and I clip the belt clip/holster to the small net on the passenger side of the center console. Works great, I've done this with all the Motorola cell phones I've had and can't find a better spot. It's easy to reach when it rings, stays out of the way, and never moves no matter how hard I take a corner.
