For you guys with the Voodoo knob, I have a question. What I'm looking for is a knob that is bored out but about 1/4" from the top, to give the shortest possible throw without modding the stock "stick." Does the Voodoo meet this requirement? Also, I too would like to hear of any competing brands, so I could do some comparison shopping.

Thanks,
Richard
Yes. If it was any shorter, the threads on the stock shifter would have to come out the top.

[QUOTE=Mikes256,Dec 1 2005, 02:51 AM]I personally don't think the Voodoo knobs are all that pretty.

The voodoo knob was the first mod I made to the car. I would buy it for $300, because it simply is amazing. You will never want to drive any other stick car again.

I had the Voodoo and then sold it, it was too small in diameter. Voodoo used to offer a larger version called Magnum, but I'm not sure of they still do.

The MUZ knob is about the same size as the Magnum, and I have found these to be way more comfortable.

Yes, he does not make the small size anymore. He just makes the larger (magnum) ones. I like the smaller size and was fortunate enough to get one while he was still making them. I had the shift pattern engraved and it arrived in less than a week.

After you use this knob, the stock knob feels like a truck shifter. Definitely one of the best things you can do. I also cut about a 1/4" off the threads on the top of my shifter stalk so the knob sits lower than it would have. Makes it even better.
