I looked and look, but couldnt find any vendor that sells the 4.77 gears besides HTG.

I would like to avoid going through him just from all the stories I've heard. Through my search, I notice people saying "Rick's 4.77", yet when I went to his site I couldnt find it. Is it another Rick, or does he not sell it anymore?

You can buy the gears from Kia as that is what the gears are. Kia sportage if I remember correctly but then would have to get them installed somewhere else.

Just buy them from Kia. They are half that cost for the same gears. They are like $240 brand new from Kia.

Forgive me as I am a NOOB..but I plan on purchasing the 4.77 gear set for my AP1 through KIA. Now they have two options..the gear set (FINAL) and (Front drive axle - Drive axles - Differential - Ring & pinion) each for 249.00. I would only need the Gear Set Final Correct?
