When did you lose your virginity?

The first time I saw the S2000 was at the New England Auto Show at Boston's Bayside Expo Center around Nov. '99. It was raised about five feet of the ground at a 45 degree angle so no one could really touch it. I stood and stared at the car for about a half an hour. My friends had to pull me away so we can go see the rest of the show.
The first time I saw the car flat on the ground was early this summer. I went with my cousin to pick up his Accord Sedan. The dealer was Honda Cars of Boston in Everett, MA. They had two, a Red/Black and a Black/Black, with the top up and windows rolled up, for $38K. I don't think they've sold it yet because of the price.
The first time I sat in one was the day I bought mine at Herb Chambers Honda in Boston. There was a Silvertone/Black in the showroom. I sat in it for fifteen minutes waiting for the salesman to prep a Black/Black one that I was to test drive. To tell you the truth, I didn't really recognize the greatness of the engine during the test drive. That was because I learned how to drive a manual tranny during the test drive, scarring the salesman to death while I was at it. Well I bought the Silverstone/Black one in the showroom for $34.5K, hey that's over MSRP but it did have the security system, titanium shift knob, front spoiler, side strakes, rear spoiler, engine block heater, floor mats, wheel locks, and aeroscreen, so I think I got a pretty good deal. They were asking for $38K too.

Greg, d**n, you know I lost my virginity with you , in Chicago, last summer. I know what I did last summer! .
Seriously, the first S2000 I saw from less that 100 yards away was Greg's when I visited Chicago on business and got the ride of my life on Lake Shore Drive, with Greg at the wheel, of course.
Seeing Greg's car almost made me change from silver to red. I remember thinking how much better it looked in the flesh and how all the photographs I'd seen, even the best, did not do the car justice.

That's right! How could I possibly forget. I was at the helm of TWO white-knuckled journeys...one for Rick and one for Tmkarab. Being the S2000 slut that I am, my memory is failing...
I get such a kick when I think back to how both of you guys were so excited and nervous. What a blast those two runs were. Up and down Lake Shore Drive...Rick was holding on for dear life! LOL! Tmkarab also ended up getting a red one...and Rick, walking around my car...I could see him thinking, 'damn, that red sure looks nice, should I switch my order?' hmmmm....
Yes, it's coming back to me now...

Now that I'm getting more and more confident behind the wheel of mine, I'm enjoying giving friends a few white-knuckle expriences.
Nobody, even a pretty jaded driver, is ready for what this car can do and the whole sensory experience that goes along with it.

For me, there were two encounters. The first was Saliv8s white car even before he saw it. It had just been PDI'ed and I was over in Knoxville on a mission to see the object of my desire. It was the Monday before Thanksgiving last year. Less than two weeks later I went to Chattanooga to look at what would be Sumir's red car. That one was parked outside. I got to turn her over. No test drives without intent to buy. I came home convinced that I would not leave the next dealer with nothing to show for my road trips. January 18th was delivery day. No test drive, no regrets.

My first one was the red/black on the rotating display at the LA Auto Show.
It was January 1999 and they introduced the S2000 at that show. My wife and I drove up from San Diego specifically for the show because that was my first opportunity to see one live and in person. This was one week after I put down my deposit at the dealer.
