What's your interval?

Around 5k and I am turbo charged. Mobile 10w-30 synthetic w/Mobil1 oil filter.
As above I sent in an Oil sample and came back golden at 6k, there is no reason to change it any sooner and give more money to the oil companies

4k-5k mi (I could go much longer), There is some misconception about oil changes. I could go on and on about oil but I will keep it short. Under normal driving conditions some oils have been tested and show to still perform over 10k mi. Filtering oil is key to the life of oil. If you have dirty oil, your oil will not cool, clean and lubercate the engine as efficiently as clean oil. (Obvious, right?) Chances are if you have oil that is excessively dirty, you most likely have other problems that need to be addressed. I have done O.A.'s before with my old oil, (5K mi) and the results show minimal breakdown. I drive my car in a manner that would be somewhat abusive too.
I use OEM filter's and fill with Valvoline 10w30 full synthetic. I think I am going to change to Mobil 1's 10w30 full synthetic.
I think the 3months 3K miles is the oil company's way of getting more money out of the consumer.

How much is an oil analysis? For those of us that never had one done.
