19 years old, full coverage, low deductible and no tickets or accidents. $170 per month. They recently bumped it up $15/mo for no particular reason. Through Geico.

27. Clean record. Only car on policy. $105/ mo. $500/$500, full coverage through Progressive. It would probably be cheaper if I didn't live in Vegas. Their customer service has been amazing the 2 times I've had to call.

I am 28, full coverage, flawless record. 500$ deductible. I pay 415$ every 6 months thru Statefarm. I also have a low miles discount through them, which basically says I will keep the yearly average on my car under 7,500. The S is not my daily, so this is pretty easy for me. I had to specifically inquire about any additional discounts for a 2nd car before they offered me this though. Saves about 65$ every 6 months.

What you guys aren't disclosing is what your coverages are - in particular your 3rd party coverage (i.e. where you injure, or damage the property of, somebody else). I am Canadian with a winter home in the US and we have been looking at purchasing a vehicle to leave with our winter home and we are having a great deal of difficulty getting what we (as Cdns) consider to be ADEQUATE 3rd party coverage. Adequate to us means at least $1 million of 3rd party coverage. Your responsibility to yourself and your family is to carry adequate insurance to compensate 3rd parties whom you may injure without exposing the whole of your assets/estate to those claims, yet for such a supposedly litigious country we have found it very difficult to get adequate coverage regardless of the cost. In Canada I carry $500 deductible, $2 million of 3rd party and comprehensive (except glass coverage because they throw so much gravel and salt on the roads that it is ridiculously expensive to carry glass coverage - it's not a question of 'if' but 'when') and I pay ~$1200/year and I am well into my 60's with no record of speeding or accidents in the past 5 years.

It is ridiculous for people to tell you how much their insurance costs without also telling you/us what their coverages are. And I agree with an earlier poster - contact your agent or multiple agents for quote/s. What other people pay is meaningless to you or anybody else - At the very least, without knowing anything about your age and your driving record, driving in LA or NYC has substantially different risks associated with it than diving in rural Montana or Iowa or......and one would expect the rates to vary accordingly.

I'm 30 with a few tickets here and there but that was earlier in my 20s so it might be off my record now. I pay $414 for 6 months for 2 cars. This is full coverage on my S, and liability for my 99 Lexus RX300. I have State Farm. Although, this cost is probablly due to our multi-line discount with them. Aside from my cars, I also have my wifes' car and our homeowners insurance thru them earning a little more discount for that reason.

If possible, try joining maybe your parents insurance so you can earn a little discount for having multi-cars, unless it is something you just want to handle yourself.

holy shit @ the kid paying 600 a month, or whatever it was. Seriously no car is worth that just for insurance.

I'm 20, no speeding tickets, full coverage, pay $170 a month through USAA

There's little point in comparing rates when there are so many things that factor into the cost.
