1. Where are you located? If you're in the city with a soft top... expect to pay for insurance. Could be as much as ~$100-200 per month in just insurance costs alone.

2. If you live in the midwest, you might want to consider something more all-season. A lot of us consider S2000 + beater car/SUV to be a fantastic combination. Some people do it as their only car, but I think I'd personally rather get a G35 if that was the case. Otherwise I think you'll need a set of extra rims and dedicated winter tires (along with someplace to store them.

3. If you're just scraping by with no spare cash, this might not be the right car for you... I'm assuming you'll buy a used one... and a thrown rod, failing diff, replacing tires at $150 apiece, or your first VTEC sloppy spinout into a guardrail (see the other posts) will break your bank....

Woodbrige Mall so that is New Jersey?

S2000 is great. but insurance will kill you if you do not have a clean record and are under 25 years old.

I can't think of better sports car to buy under 35k. Then again, alot of people might disagree.

Pros; Can't get enough of it. Cons; Can't get enough of it and for those without decent amount of experience with RWD sports car, it is unforgiving as it can be.

Good luck with your shopping. Make sure to learn about RWD cars before you start pushing it. Alot of people damaged their S2000 within les than 1 year of ownership because they pushed the car without fully understanding the limits of the car.
