Could be your brakes.

How new is your car? When the cars are shipped here from Jolly ole Japan they are coated to prevent saltwater corrosion. This stuff burns off with the first month of useage,

Or you could stop feeding your passenger bean burrito's from Taco Bell!

Could be the catalytic converter. My wife's Xterra stinks all to be damned when she first pulls into the garage. Had it checked out at the dealer and they said it was the cat. Who knows.

especially after a hard run, you can smell some sulfur scent. This is normal in parts of the country with gasoline with sulfur content, like PA.

There are coatings on the engine and other underbody parts. It burns off after a while, I know what you mean.

I have noticed a smell with this car that I did not notice on my '01. It is kindof a fishy smell. Actually it smells quite strong and very much like rotting fish. I guess it could be described as a sulfuric smell as well. The thing is, I notice it much more when I have driven really hard and worked my clutch really hard. I am wondering, do the 02-03's have a different clutch than the 00-01's?

I took my S out for a drive after a long winter hiberanation, this past weekend and I did notice a fishy smell when parked. This went on for two days, and I did not notice it any more. What could it be? My S is a 2000 with only 7400 mi.

RazorV3, how many miles on the car?

I purchased my S used with 1600 miles or something on it (it was nearly two years old). It used to stink real bad after being driven - I could see "smoke" coming out of the exhaust and/or under the car. A few hundred more miles (and more regular driving than the first owner) and I have no more stink. Either the undercoating or the exhaust or both were wearing in/burning off.
