Default What's the most miles you've gotten out of tires?

What's the most amount of miles you guys have put on tires before having them replaced.

Please don't post if you're just anal and replace tires before they are totally worn.

0-5000 I went through the stock S02's in 2500 miles (totally bald) and have just gone through a set of toyo proxis 4 (or something like that) in 5000 miles.... they arent totally bald yet but if it even looks like rain i wouldnt want to drive on them

of course its the rears that actually wear out the fronts last much longer and i do mismatch tires when that happens. I drive my car very hard though and use the same tires for autocross (although rarely)

are you talking about the stock tires or aftermarket?
my stock tires lasted about 11k miles for the rear and 15k for the front, my t1r last about 7k in the rear and 10k in the front

I just hit 28000 on my RE-050's and the rears are still good. In the rain, they're having a little trouble, but on dry... still really good.

And you can ask... I drive the turns hard very often. I do drag events and I do Auto-X and they're still good.

Because I want to know how long the tires actually last and not how long you go before you just change your tires.

Must be an 06 thing!

My RE050s were great too, lasting 20000 miles - that set went through multiple AutoX's, Trackdays, and hard driving.

Can't say enough good things about the RE050.

I am at 18,600 miles and its more than 60% left on the OEM RE050. Consumer report that these stock tire are very good for summer tire. Falken Ziex is best over all.
