Default Whats the general price range for a good paint job

Anyone painted their S before? I found a cheap 06 Silver S2K but I want black, Just like to know what you guys think it would cost to go from silver to black.

you're looking at 3k minimum for paint job you're happy with

Its always better to get the color you want than to repaint another color. Think of the hit you'd get on resale too.

Just wait and buy the color you want. If you want a full color change (door jams, ect) it will run you around $6000 and up for a decent job. Also OEM paint is one of the best quailty paint jobs to have. Keep searching man, one will come up sometime for you.

Its not worth it. you cant find a black one for that price.

Find a black one... I painted cars for 4 years. A color swap is not easy if done right. You can 1/2 ass it pretty cheap but those are the results you will get.

If you don't have a hook up, I would say around 5k+.
