OK, let me take you one final step. Usually, some things in life, you are on your own, but in this case, since I'm a roll, I'll tell you this:

With the use of a little COMMON SENSE, you should buy the MOST RECENT edition that covers your car ...................... ie. Get the one that covers your MY and any other model year that is the most recent. They cost the same. This way, if you decide to get the newer model, you will save having to get the newer service manual.
Yes, I already know they cost the same. Just curious why they're even selling the 2000-2004 edition if they have a 2000-2005 edition since '04 and '05 are the same.

For the love of all things HOLY .................................................. ......

See that black, squarish thing at about the 12:30 position? That is the head of the dipstick. If it doesn't quite look like this, YOU PUT IT IN TURNED BACKWARDS, you doofus.
If it looks nothing like this and there is a little pointy thing sticking out? Some fool took your oil pan off in the middle of the night and shoved you dipstick in from the bottom.

To confuse some people so they sell more books. I'm sure they are trying to combine information and serve more owners with fewer editions. Plus, each edition comes out at different times.

You actually posted a picture of the secret compartment?????

Where are we going to hide our radar detectors now?
In the OTHER secret compartment. No, it's going to be another 6 or 7 MYs before I reveal where this one is.

XViper- Your interior is deertay.
"DEERTAY" to you. To me, it's "CHARACTER". I spend most of my life posting crap here, NOT making my interior "UNDEERTAY".

BTW, the link you gave me lists TWO manuals.
I'm sorry I didn't answer your question directly, so here it is:

For YOU, take your pick. IT DOESN'T MATTER!

this thread should be sent to all of the noobies who register
They should make it so when you first register the ONLY thread you can access is this one. Then to gain access to the rest of the forums you have too "agree" to have read and understood the entire thread. Kind of like a "Terms and Conditions" agreement for new software!

Of course...somehow someone would still get stuck at a gas staation looking for their tank release.

PS-Good stuff xviper!
