Yeah, it shocked me too. It used to be quite modest, and then it disappeared when my dues ran out. I guess C3 is trying to embarress me into paying my dues again.

Wow! I didn't know there was really a type V. I saw it on Gran Tursimo, but thought it was just a made up extension on the S.

I thought the variable ratio steering just changed the ratio with speed. So it does not take as much to turn the wheels in slower traffic, but much more at high speeds (to avoid twitchy high speed behavior).

? ^ ? I thought there was a form of that on the us version too, that is why they changed out the RSR drift car S2000's steering rack with a RX7's? It is almost a direct fit they say. I know one is electronic assist and one is hydro??

I think they changed it because the electric unit doesn't provide the feedback a hydro one does.

all resistance on the steering is simulated by programming.

I "think" that "Type V" is the model designation of the S2000 that has the "VGS" steering system on the car.
