Default What's the best deal you've gotten on your s2k?

First off I did search for a thread like this and could not find one, so i am sorry if there already is one. But i just wanted some input on how much you paid and what the year/mileage of your car was. If you think you got a good deal tell us about it. Thanks

OP: You can do better than that deal. You should get a late 02 model instead. Glass window is worth it. Also, unless it's pretty recent, anyone chiming in is going to be telling you something irrelevant. Same goes for people outside your area. Just watch CL for long enough and you'll know a good deal when you see one. As with most things, impatience here is expensive.

I realize that I could probably get a better deal if I waited. But i have been looking for a couple of months and this is the best one that i can find within 300 miles from here. I really want the glass top but all of the 02+' s that i have seen are out of my price range. i only have 12,000 to spend

back in August I got my 01 with 74k for $10,700. Before I bought it the entire car was re-painted stock color with new (glass) top and everything is CLEAN. The engine and wheel-wells, interior, everything was ridiculously clean.
