This particular INJEN application has an additional piece that goes to the lower part of the car to bring in cold air. Most INJEN intake systems come only with short ram applications, but there are cold air extensions. There are also race division intake systems that are two piece systems as well. This particular system is a cold air application so it has 2 major connectible pipes. If you don't think this is a genuine INJEN product, go to the INJEN website or e-mail an INJEN representative to ask for more details. Ask about model # IS1305

The guy is an idiot however Injen is now selling a 2-piece unit (I talked to them at SEMA).

Well someone on this board is selling an Injen short ram with pics, so I'm guessing there has to be an extension to it.

It seems unlikely that you can just add an extension to a short ram and turn it into a CAI. The bend in a short ram is probably not compatable with tacking on an extension and running it into the fender cavity.
