yeah i just saw the latest issue of motor trend and it was a "special issue" about summer fun and convertables............. there was no friggin s2000. sure they had the vet, mustang, and the 350z but no s2k.

whats that all about. i know i have more fun in this car than in any of those. although i wouldnt pass up a drive in a 350z.

Did they even have an excuse as to why they didn't include the S?

Magazines don't even include the s2000 anymore. You would think there would be a nice comparo between:

s2000
350z
g35
Rx8
Evo
ect....

But what comparos do we get?

Motor Trend is not one of the best mags out there in my mind, therefore I'm not surprised they missed such an obvious example of open top fun, the S2000. And what about the Miata, the MR2 Spyder, the BMW Z4, those too are wonderful cars to enjoy the open air with.

And with it going to be in the 80s today, the first time above 79 since October last year, I sure hope I see lots of convertibles out there in Upstate today! Enjoy the sun today Jimbo, we sure have waited for it!!!

The warm weather has me doing a little driving, and lots of work to the car since it has been too cold to do much down in the garage. Last night I spent all night refitting and modifying the interior trim behind the seats around the roll bar. This was a job that should have been done last year, but I never got to it.

Tonight my goal is to clean the interior and condition the leather. Everything is so dusty and the carpet still has fall leaves still stuck it in.

Who knows, maybe this Friday, I'll PM Skip...

Yea, it's time for the S2200. I hope that it's a hardtop so the convertible can become a classic.
