The car isn't big enough for me to have more than one seat position. I'm fairly average-sized too: just under 6" and weigh around 185. Maybe for super skinny people there is a range of positions? If I push the seat forward my knees will hit the dash at one point or another while driving.

My wife claims I practically lie down in the car, but I keep moving the seat up and back and adjusting the recline. I find it keeps me fresh on long drives and less irritation of my old-mans back.

I have 10 hours drive to WTD next month, I may be in the trunk when I arrive!

Same as the Topic Started. Every since I have been to track, I always sit the way taught there.
For those interested, what we learned it is as described here: http://www.turnfast.com/tech_driving/driving_seating

My seat reclines but I have it pretty much as upright as can be. My knees are slighty bent, elbows also. Only problems I ever get on long drives is charlie horses in my left hip. When it happens I normally just find a place to stop and smoke a cigarette and walk around. It's a welcomed break for my ears though.

I have my seat most of the way up and no recline at all. Everyone that rides with me always comments on how far up I sit but I have to sit like that or it feels like im not in control. On any car I drive I always sit so my knee is less than an inch from the dash. I'm 5'9"

Thoughts?
I agree completely
My seat is forward and upright

I should also add, I changed the seat rails to the Backyard Special ones, and love the drop in seat height, so technically, I'm lower, forward, and upright, and I'm just 5'10"
