What are these flaps under the front bumper for?

Mine are intact. VA/WV/NC where I drive have good roads.

I'd keep them. Even the amuse bumper includes their own since you take off the stock ones. I dont think they'd break, theyre really soft. I scraped them all the time after I was lowered.
I have personally "broken" two, i.e. ripped them off somewhere. The screws were still intact and holding the base mount still.
Not sure how or where, but it was probably on a fun road somewhere

I took mine off years ago, done plenty of high speed driving with the S over the years never missed them. Although I will say without them, a rear spoiler and a front lip you can tell at speed that somethings missing. But with a spoiler and lip I never missed them.

After lowering my car, I completely forgot these things existed. Just went to go take a look at my car and low and behold I'm missing one of them. Go figure lol.

i think they actually look better on making the car look a little lower i took them off just to see and i put them right back on...
