Default What suspension mods really work?

I did a search and didn't really find any definant answers. The rear end on my s2000 seems a little loose, and from what i've read they all seem to be this way. I was wondering what suspension mods can help without making the ride stiffer. I was especially interested in the front x-brace, bigger anti-roll bars, and upper strut bars. Are these pieces worth the money? Thanks!

Get an alignment and new tires first and see if it helps.

HondaS2K8888 will be selling his Comptech front sway if you want to buy it. Best suspension mod IMO.

If you really did a search then you should have found a definite answer: driving lessons.

REVHI is absolutely right. Start with checking the alignment

I've had my S since 2002 and two times I've noticed the back end getting progressively less planted. Each time a good alignment cleared it right up. I've never had another car that is more sensitive to alignment. Both times the variance was VERY minor, but truing it up made a massive difference.

the car always feels best with fresh rubber and everything straight.

As for little modifications here's what I have and my opinions:

X-Brace: Helps a little on bumpy roads, made the car want to hop in every groove on the interstate, no big change in handling.

3-Piece Chasis bars: Bling.......but I guess the car felt a tad more stiff (this was the last mod I put on and already had a few other things + brand new tires at the time).

Shock/Spring/Coilovers: Huge plus - if paired correctly (on the Spring/Shock) side. Lowering the car helps to keep the feeling* of body roll down (whether or not it technically changes that much......???) which made me feel more in control in turns.

Front Sway Bar: I immediately felt a nice difference with this - aside from Suspension Systems, this has definitely been a very nice improvement for me. It added so much to my feeling* of control while in turns.

*I starred "feeling" because I have no technical data to back up what I've posted - this is solely based on my opinion/experience. I also do not feel like getting into an Internet debate with some technical geek.
