What Should I use for our Tops to keep it clean... any suggestions?
I have a 2001 s2k and was wondering if theres any products you guys use to keep the vinyl or cloth material looking new because I know those things fade over time and also the plastic back window if theres a spray to keep it clean.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have used Raggtop, as well as the 303 Cleaner/Protectant combo for FABRIC tops. (They make a separate kit for vinyl). 303 on the dash and sidewalls has always given me a nice. matte finish rather than the greasy look which I personally hate.
I met one of the 303 techs at an SAE convention and he was founded in good science, so I have stayed with their products for years. Not saying there are not other good ones out there, but I also believe in longevity as an indice of quality.

Our tops are vinyl, so whatever you use, get the right product for the top. I use 3M's 303 cleaner and protectant for the top and Plexus for the rear window. Dheck out www.properautocare.com for lots of info on a variety of items.

just make sure you clean the top with the wash mit everytime you wash your car. i've seen people who just ignore the top when washing the car and this is what makes the difference b/w a healthy and messed up top.

PepBoys sells an excellent product called "convertible top cleaner" for about 5 bucks per spray bottle. The bottle lasts approx 6 months, assuming you wash your car once a week and use the product twice a month. I also use the 303 protectant- but this protects, not cleans, so I apply after I've washed and dried the top.
