What is an s2000?
I keep meeting more and more people who aren't car savvy (there's a lot of them out there) who have no idea what the s2000 is. It's so funny. Here in the Sacramento there aren't so many that I see them daily so I guess that's one reason. It cracks me up when me and a friend are talking about the s2000 and the words hot, fast, sexy get tossed around and then someone asks, "What kind of car do you have?" I proudly reply Honda s2000 and they kind of make a confused face. Then when I say, well it's like the Porsche boxter but faster..they are like wow, I didn't know honda made that kind of car. Later when they see her they are floored. I love the fact still that she's a low volume car.

I'm also stoked that it continues to be such a low volume car. Even here in SoCal, I probably see more than many people - but I still don't see them THAT often. And I STILL get excited when I see one on the road!!

i definitely find a lot of people not knowing what kind of car i drive. just last night i took my gf to a restaurant that is directly across from a honda dealership. i pulled into a parking spot and walked in and was immediately asked by the hostess what kind of car i was driving. i told her it was a honda and she replied in shock "oh really?!? i've never seen that one before! i thought it was a subaru!" (because of the rick's badges).
the other day i had someone at the local convience store ask me if it was a saturn. rick's badges definitely give the car an aura of mystery.
i hardly ever see other S drivers in my area. when i do i always try and get their attention but i have found that the majority of S drivers around me do not frequent this forum.
