What rpm does the vtec kick in for S2000?

This question might sound really really dumb for people on this board... but i dont own a S2000.. though i am seriously considering one right now.. (love the looks)


Also, how you guys like the gear ratio on S2000?? Does it put you back in vtec after every redline up shift?

VTEC kicks in arroun 5800 - 6000 RPM...

Depending on your driving style you absolutely can kick into VTEC with every shift...

The gears are so close with the 6-speed that if you run it to redline you will be in the meat of VTEC with each shift! In fact in some of the higher gears it only drops a few RPM.
