3M Double Sided Tape or Adhesive can be extremely strong. I have worked for a major defense electronics firm and currently work for the only cell phone design/manufacturing company in America (I think) and you won't believe how many of our products are held together by adhesive. The BMW E46 M3's lip spoiler is held on by, you guessed it, double sided tape. Proper surface preparation (cleaning) is the key to adhesion.

I actually am kinda impressed with the Veilside look. But being an engineer, I believe form has to follow function. Does anyone know how much downforce that spoiler will generate? From the pic on the link, appears like it's shaped at a fairly steep angle, or am I not looking at it right?

I don't give a $hit how FVckin strong double sided tape is. If it's not bolted on it's rice.
