What to offer for a 00 NFR with 44K miles
Hey guys,
I have found an 2000 S2000 in red with 44K miles, its a one owner. And seems that all the maint and recalls have been done properly.
they are asking 16900
what should I offer them
thanks again

It depends entirely on several factors including your location, the overall condition of the car, and what (if any) options it has. KBB lists an '00 with 44k in "excellent" condition with no options for $17k plus.
Try running it through KBB and edmunds and get the different pricing outcomes for the overall condition of the car, and that will give you a good starting point.
Since the car is a one owner if its in really good condition with good service records than you may not be able to get much less that what they are asking (unless the car is located in like Antartica!)

If the car is clean and mechanically sound it sound like a great deal to me.
You better hurry the same car will be a couple G's higher as soon as we enter spring. Its a buyers market right now and there is no way even an 00 will worth less then 17 unless it is high miles (44k is not high for a honda) or has issues.
just my 2 cents.

thanks for the advice guys..
Now if I let my brain do the talking..I really dont need an s2k right now as much as I want it.... Just apprx how much could I get a car like this one in the fall for. Should I wait till the fall probably have more budget to work with or bite the bullet and get this.
thanks

If you can afford it and want it, buy it. Might as well get one now and enjoy it during the upcoming summer. I bought my S about 3 months before I wanted to just because the right car came along and I didn't want to let it slip by.
