aem v2 - rain
comptech intake - its a dam shortram.. but i dont know why its called CAI .. i guess air WILL flow into the fender right?
If you're worried about rain with the AEM v2, just buy this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...7950875160&rd=1

Its $20 with shipping and it should work to prevent rain just as well as the Injen one for $50.

So far I don't regret any of the mods on my car, but the only ones I bought myself were the AEM v2 and SuperSprint exhaust. The rest came with the car when I bought it. I probably wouldn't have done the springs though if I bought it new. Would have saved the $$$ and gotten coilovers instead.

I bought the 4.77 rear gear set while I was in Florida. Then I moved to Germany where I'm surrounded by the autobahn and now my top speed is crap. I'm at like 8k rpms going 110 mph

^true, if you have access to the autobahn, then the 4.77s may not be the best mod. But, here in the U.S, where 110 will land your ass in jail, the 4.77s are great. At 85mph I am 5300rpm...not bad at all.

overall I like the 4.77's, just not the best for the autobahn. on the other hand there are tons of fun windy roads where the 77's really pay off.

aem v2 doesnt work with the bypass...
The AEM V2 does so work with the bypass valve, you just have to get the right size. I drove through Hurricane Ivan with my V2 n bypass valve, and I didn'y have a single problem. So far the only thing I regret buying is a Ricks red/black shift boot, b/c I just changed my interior to all black.
