Like the topic states what mods did you regret buying and why!! Let your anger out here

 

S03's sure they grip, but 8K miles for some $200 tires, sheesh.

 

When I had my 00' NFR Spoon exhaust, sound was unbearable on long trips and vtec transistion was too smooth, I loved the feeling of stock when I could feel that "jerk" during vtec engagement.

 

RM Racing Aluminum Dead Pedal. Can hardly see it and I drive withouth shoes on so it's cold in the winter.

 

Hardtop.

Not that I don't love it, but I don't drive the car that much in the winter so I don't get as much use out of it. Also if I want to trade in my car I loose a lot on the top from what I payed.

Well maybe it will help this week, or until it falls off of the first page of threads. Someone will have to search to find it then, and we all know how often anyone uses the search.

so far nothing. all i have is HT volks and kg.mm i love them all

 

(1) PRM intake- waste of money
(2) Neuspeed Exhaust- too quiet and was HEAVY
(3) Momo shift knob, seat pads- RICETASTIC
(4) Injen short ram- not what I needed
(5) SSR GT1's- I wished I had saved the money and bought what I REALLY wanted... VOLKS. I sold them and ended up getting the Volks.
(6) HT stand- looks good, but not 400 bucks worth of good.
(7) VAFC+harness+Tune- not worth money. 4.77 gears and MY02 ECU did the job right.
(8)VeilSide Version1 rear wing- looks good, but I thought it would look better in person
(9) painting the calipers red- lame, takes away from the look of the wheels
(10) Aftermarket badges/ Wheel and bumper (JDM/Rick's)- Nothing wrong with them, just a change of taste
(11) aftermarket pedals- waste of money, the OEM actually drive better\

If I knew then, what I know now, I could have saved myself a lot of money. In short, if you want something... don't settle, just save. You won't be satisfied if you settle. You will still want the other, and will probably end up getting it...and loose money on the substitute.
