I believe there is an exemption to this rule if the original manufacturer designed/sold the car in this manner...
LOL right...anything to make it so that there is no way to call your car ricer material. Is there a funtion to the duel? NO. Does it hurt the performance of the car? YES. Ricer

it's a bash on all Japanese cars, modded or not, simply because they are made by Japanese companies.
What's up Scorpion..

I think in the begining "rice" or "ricer" referred to Imports as you mentioned but I think you will find that domestic cars now a days can also fall under the heavily modded but in poor subjective taste....

I'm been guilty of using the term... but I do so in harmless fun.... Much like the ticket I posted above... A co-worker put one on my car... I laughed my ass off!..

MY opinion of a RICER is these guys who drive low end cars and dump a bunch of money into the engine and exhaust. Most of these cars look like they were painted by hand. Then to top it off they think they are bad MOFOs because their engine is as loud as a jet. They try to race you at stop lights. They try to catch up with you on the freeway when you blow by them...etc, etc. It makes me sick to my stomach seeing these people.
if it makes you sick to your stomach, you should take life, as a whole, a lot less seriously.

Also, why is it rice to make a so-called "low end car" fast? thats what putting Real money into an engine will do. hmmm

I have to admit that that ticket is funny

Hell I'm guilty of "ricing" someone out, but man some of the retards here (Tampa) go nuts calling people out. I've seen some nice ass cars unders the hood, but the body didn't look like much and they dogged him out. I just wished they would have tried to race him...then I could of really had a laugh.

It was just an "expression." I dont physically get sick to my stomach. I have no problems with anyone putting money into their car. I have problems with these people thinking they are so badass driving a Cabriolet or a POS civic. They try to blow me off the line at stop lights. They try to catch up to me on the freeway, weaving in and out of traffic. They'll ride my ass if I am casually driving in the middle lane. Its THEIR ATTITUDE like " I am the bomb with my suped up rabbit." Come on...you know you want to laugh at them.

I just meant that a stock s2k should not be considered rice, IMO, but I do agree with the rest of your statement.

BTW-> only have single exhaust (hks) on my rsx...

Your understanding of the dual exhaust system that comes originally equipped on our cars is misinformed.

Is there a funtion to the duel? NO.
-Wrong. The function is to reduce exhaust noise.

[QUOTE]Does it hurt the performance of the car? YES.
